Top 5 Rosés to Give Your Sweetheart for Valentine’s Day
By Zach Glassman, Certified Specialist of Wine
It’s that time of year again! Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re in team pro- or anti-v-day, this is a great time of year to drink something bubbly, celebratory, pink, and fruit-forward. We’ve compiled a list of our 5 favorite rosés to drink or gift this Valentine’s Day and they’re some really delicious choices!
G.H. Mumm Rosé Brut Champagne: Rated 91 points from Wine Spectator, G.H. Mumm’s Rosé Champagne is beautiful. Floral, soft, round, and ripe, with tons of fruit flavors, Wine Spectator said it has “Smoky hints of grilled nut and toasted brioche provide a rich base for flavors of baked raspberry.”

Hampton Water Rosé 2021: A traditional Southern French rosé made from the usual Grenache grape, but flavorful where your Provence rosé is lighter and more acid-driven. Beautiful minerality, bright acid, but intensely floral and fruity with strawberry, bright cherry, and subtle earthy notes.
$15.99
Broc Love Rosé 2020: This is a fun one. Made mostly from a grape called Valdiguié (which, when vinified red, creates dark, inky wines with floral aromatics and tons of plump red fruit), and blended with Zinfandel (the not-sweet one) and a hint of Trousseau (also called Bastardo), Broc Cellars’ Love Rosé brings the love in all the right ways. Absolutely delicious and sure to please just about anyone. Chill this one to really experience it right.
$17.99
Maison Noir Love Drunk 2020: I’m so excited about this rosé, because it’s mostly white and barely red, which makes absolutely no sense and it makes my little wine nerd brain go crazy! All the flavors of a top notch rosé come through, though, with wild strawberries and raspberries, watermelon, kiwi, and a line of acidity streaking through it with wild abandon. Oregon rosé at its finest and one I cannot recommend highly enough! I know I’ll be drinking it tonight for Satisfied Being Single Day!
$16.99
Summer in a Bottle Provence Rosé 2021: Who says a Summer fling has to happen in Summer? Wolffer Vineyards’ Summer in a Bottle is absolutely beautiful and, frankly, a bit of an anomaly coming out of Provence - not really because the owners of Wolffer and the location of their winery is on Long Island’s South Fork, but because it’s got such power and fruity strength for rosés that are typically more nuanced. But don’t take that as a bad thing: Wolffer hit the jackpot on this one and now you can too!
