Tastes Like: The 2019 Sonoma County Merlot is deep garnet in color with a ruby edge. The nose is a compelling mixture of juniper, dried herb, bright red cherry, black tea leaf, dried orange peel, exotic spices, and notes of vanilla and light toast. On the palate, plush dark bramble, dried blueberry, and dark chocolate are framed by notes of black pepper and cedar. This medium- to full-bodied wine leads to a silky finish.
